Get Ready for Section Conference 2016

January 17, 2016

Greeting Echockotee Lodge members,

On behalf of Section S-4 and O-Shot-Caw Lodge, I would like to invite you to attend the 2016 Section Conference on April 8-10, 2016 at Camp Elmore in Davie, FL. We are fewer than 3 months away from the conference. Since the Order of the Arrow’s founding, lodges around the nation have met annually to celebrate and rededicate themselves to the principles of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service. Rich in Native American history, these conferences have often focused on Indian dance, drum, and ceremonies, as well as training to enhance leadership and craft skills. This year, Arrowmen of Section S-4 will gather once more to honor a legacy that was set over 100 years ago by our founders Dr. E. Urner Goodman and Carroll A. Edson, and leave our conference ready to continue serving the vision of our Order.

The theme for this year’s event is “The Vision Continues” which serves to remember our past, but more importantly to pave our future through the bonds of brotherhood. This event celebrates our 101th anniversary and will leave S-4 rekindling the ideals and principles laid out by our founders. For more information check out the Conference website at! We look forward to seeing you there!
